All information on the following pages has been prepared to assist you to better understand the rules/policies regarding the ACP Program. Please note: this ACP Program Overview is a synopsis only of the ACP Program – for a detailed explanation of the Program, you can review the ACP Manual in its entirety, in the ACP section of the ESA web site, or contact the ACP Office at 1-800-249-4583 and request the Manual be emailed to you, in .pdf format.

The ACP Program boasts that only the best Electrical/HVAC contractors are current members – only those Electrical/HVAC contractors who do consistent, code-compliant work, are allowed on and allowed to remain on, the Program. The Authorized Contractor Program is a partnership agreement between ESA and its Electrical Contractors/HVAC installers – both working together to ensure electrical public safety. It’s important to understand that being a member of ACP is a privilege, not a right.
