Opportunity to respond to ESA’s Request for Proposal on the management of electrical safety issues
The ESA invites interested respondents to submit proposals to provide these services. The Request for Proposal (RFP) is an invitation to interested vendors (respondents) to submit proposals (proposals) to satisfy the requirements of the ESA for consultancy services to research and a prepare a report providing guidance to a National Public Safety Advisory Committee (NPSAC) Steering Group made up of a federal/provincial /territorial (FPT) regulators, Health Canada, Standards Council of Canada, and affected stakeholders regarding the management of electrical product safety issues amongst the various authorities having jurisdiction in Canada.
ESA’s RFP process is designed to enable ESA, on behalf of the NPSAC Steering Group, to select the respondent that has the greatest potential to complete the project competently and provide viable options that could be relied upon for decision making. A selection team, representing the NPSAC Steering Group, will be reviewing all proposals to select the successful respondent.
