Ontario Electrical Safety Code (24th Edition/2009)

The Electrical Safety Authority introduced the 24th Edition of the Ontario Electrical Safety Code in the spring 2009. This edition of the OESC is the first update in 7 years, and introduces 255 changes to reflect changes from both the Canadian Electrical Code and the Ontario amendments.

Starting in early 2009, ESA began offering Ontario Electrical Safety Code training workshops to provide the electrical industry with an overview of “key changes” to the OESC.

To ensure that the unique needs of our customers are addressed, ESA is offering two workshops on the new OESC:

  • “General” Workshop – Includes all major changes to the OESC (24th Edition/2009).
  • “Residential” Workshop – Includes all OESC changes that are specific to single-dwelling installations.

Workshops are available at a price of $150.00 (plus GST) per attendee.
