Protect Your Workers
Based on level of risk CSS can help identify courses to:
- Keep employees safe.
- Help employers demonstrate due diligence.
- Training is an effective risk reduction solution. ESA’s training workshops are specifically designed to offer guidance and clarification regarding electrical safety principles and safe work practices.
- Workshops are continually being developed to meet evolving training needs.
In 2006 the Ontario Environmental Training Consortium (OETC) recommended that the Ministry of Environment grant "Director Approval" status to a number of ESA's training workshops. This approval means Water Operators, Maintenance and Management staff working at Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Plants will earn continuing education units (CEU's) when they successfully complete one of ESA's approved workshops. Please note it is entirely at the discretion of organizations outside of the Water Treatment and Wastewater Treatment Industry whether to accept or reject the OETC CEU credit. OETC CEU accreditation is an opportunity to promote ESA's training portfolio to Municipalities, LDC's or other companies who operate water treatment facilities.
In future, we'll be investigating CEU recognition by additional associations.
