Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC) 26th Edition - Proposed Amendments

ESA is seeking the views of consumers, businesses and other stakeholders on proposed amendments to the Ontario Electrical Safety Code (OESC). The consultation ran from Thursday, February 5 to Monday, March 23, 2015. 

This was the second of two public consultations on Ontario amendments to the OESC. ESA previously consulted Stakeholders from September to November 2014 to gather their input on proposed Amendments to Section 75. Section 75 is the portion of the OESC that covers the requirements for overhead primary and secondary powerline installations, poles and pole mounted electrical equipment that are not owned by an LDC. ESA’s response to this consultation is found here.
